Shadow: *her eyes narrow... she's still for a long time, simply weighing things in her mind. Finally, she nods, and jerks her chin towards the door* Outside. You've caused enough damage for one day in here. *she gives a meaningfully glance at XYNTH, and frowns back at Zora* Cuz if she wasn't in this before, she is now, and they'll know, thanks to you and yer flapping jaws. *she turns, unworried about her back being protected, her shields were good and strong, and heads for the door without a backward glance. She does, however, offer a sweet and friendly smile to XYNTH and LYTA as she passes by them on her way out*

Belindi: MS~ I don't know what is going on...stay away...I don't want anyone hurt ~MS *the send choppy for her concentration isn't 100% and she was only /just/ given the talent*

~SHADOW~vWhitefyre: *chuckles* I'm not worried about her. *she follows Lyeth out*

*she glances a moment at ALU CARD, having learned XYNTH'S name, and she smiles.. more of a smirk, at him and his offer to help the poor woman cowering behind the bar. Xynth was safe.. Lyeth had no quarrel with her even if she DID toss scalding tea at her.. and continues by him*

Lyeth: *her chocolate-brown eyes wide as the woman smiles and relaxes visibly as the woman turns and walks out the door. That one is one to be watched...to be watched...closely. She bites her lower lip in thought*

Lyta: Stay here. If I don't come back in a few hours find Tari. My place may not be safe anymore. //Xynth: Keep an eye on Lyta for me. Otherwise stay out of it.

~PANACEA~
Whitefyre; *she watches warily as you and Shadow walk out the door, cursing herself silently for ever showing up undisguised, no smile returned to you*

Shadow:*outside, she keeps walking until they're some distance away, before she rounds on the woman, her eyes flashing true fire* Not worried about her? *brows raise* Dope... are you aware of who the GUARD has in their possession right now?? *she stills, and then runs a hand thru her hair, sighing* First things first... who are you, how do you know me... and if yer not with THEM, who are you with? And what the hell do you know about Sai???

Zora: *nods quickly, her eyes moving to LYTA, not knowing what 'Keeping an eye on' is supposed to mean. Is LYTA a friend or an enemy? She mutters a prayer under her breath*

~PANACEA~
Shadow; *she nods, seeing that you are leaving with the other woman, guessing that what you know about her will soon be known by Whitefyre and any others like her she has a very uneasy feeling about this*///Xynth;*she glances at you and nods, intending to be away and gone as soon as she gives her message to Tari*

*relaxes completely...well almost completely. She moves to the stove and pouring a new cup of tea from the kettle. She cups the mug in her shaking hands, sipping the liquid slowly, feeling better with every swallow. Keeping her gaze of LYTA*

Xynth; she watches you in annoyance and considers waiting for Tari outside*

Whitefyre: *seeing the fires in her eyes she steels herself. She had to hand it to Lyeth. They were out in the open. No shadows for protection here.* First.. My name is Zora Cable. My filename is Shadow. How I know about you and other R.UN.ners is that I stole the R.UN.ner and Hunter files from GUARD HQ. I know you don't believe that, but they didn't protect the place from my abilities to move in the shadows. It is now. How I know about Sai? I met him here. I didn't know who he was until I met Chalyss and mentioned Sai. I knew Chalyss from the files. I didn't have a chance to talk to her of the files. I did talk to Sai. We made arrangements for him to get the files. I gave them to him. I returned the next day. So did he. Hunters showed up and took him and another girl. I didn't get a good enough look to see who she was. I now suspect it was Snowfire.

*she sighs and sits back uneasily, waiting for Tari now*

~WHITEFYRE~
Shadow:*she blinks, absorbing the information.. picking up key names... her eyes widen and she reacts almost as if struck... pupils dilating, cheeks paling to an unhealthy color, breath catching a bit... and that hand runs thru her hair again as she stares blankly.. as it all sinks in, all of it. And in the end, she spits a very vehement curse into the night, a word she really hates* F*CK! *she repeats it over and again, quieter, but no less heated, and shakes her head, rubs her brows, a hand on her lean hip* Oh hell... oh no. Sh*t. SH*T! *she fixes Zora with a very direct, very intense and deadly gaze* Okay Zora... you tell me now.. once, if this is all true. Cuz you know I can find out (Ah... and Zora would think she's still a telepath.. the GUARD files about Aerik would not have been updated yet.. she wouldn't know what they've found out thru Sai and Yndia)and you've been charged. One little psionic push from me and yer whole head is a pulp. You know that. Tell me this is true now and I'll believe you. If you're lying.. well, if you've read my files, and Chalyss', then you know we don't bluff and we don't jerk around.

Whitefyre: *quietly.. Lyeth had listened. Now maybe she could get help for Sai.* It's the truth. I know what you can do. If you don't believe me look for yourself.

~PANACEA~
*very tempted to just leave now...not bothering with Tari, she looks at the door longingly, wishing she was out of here now..

~WHITEFYRE~
Shadow: *of course, Lyeth can't look for herself.. being now separated from Aerik. She's no telepath, not any more. She merely nods slowly and sinks down into a crouch, staring blankly at the ground.. Another long moment of silence, and she speaks again, softly* Well... we're all screwed then. There it all goes. The GUARD has Sai... and Yndia. Open books, both of them. The element of surprise is hardly that anymore. *she runs her face, a resigned and tired motion* Zora... I'm really glad you told me this. Oh, we're totally f*cked now... all of us. But I'm glad I know. *her eyes close tightly, and she draws in a breath, knowing her next words will do nothing short of stagger* The GUARD has Razorshred.

~ Whitefyre: *having not been involved in the fight until recently she has no idea who Razorshred is. The files she copied did not have the new breed.* Who is Razorshred?

~PANACEA~
*She looks at the door, wondering if she should look at the house for Tari*

~WHITEFYRE~
Shadow:*she glances up, a bit surprised* maybe you weren't there... I'm not sure. It was years ago he and his so-called 'Enhanced' decided to have some fun and murdered dozens, if not hundreds, of unnatural RUNners. They're five of em.. all nutty as bats. Razorshred... if ya read Eclipse's file before it was closed, when he .. died... you'd know they had some indication of his power levels... what he allowed them to see. I speak truly when I say they saw a puny little amount. He never did let them see the whole thing. Multiply what was in his files by about a hundred and ya might have a slight idea of how strong Eclipse really was... then triple that and ya have Razorshred. The most powerful unnatural telepath alive. And the GUARD SOMEhow caught him... that's all we know. Besides the fact he's drugged up and doing their dirty work... precognates confirmed this. Do you understand now? Anything and everything in Yndia and Sai's mind... its all theirs now. All of it. But there's more... how much can you handle, Zora?

Whitefyre: Ouch.. I didn't get Eclipse's file. It wasn't in the active directory. All I know is what is in your file. *sighs* I was with GUARD shortly about 8 years ago. When I saw what they really were doing I left. I've been hiding ever since. It was only about a year ago that I heard about them again. I heard rumors I wasn't the only one that got away. That was when I broke in and got the files. *sits down next to Lyeth.* I'm involved in this now. I need to know it all. If they know what is in Sai's mind they know about the files I have. You are going to have to let everyone know that no one is safe anymore.

~WHITEFYRE~
Shadow:*she nods and sighs, watching the other sit and she holds her crouch and shifts a little to keep circulation running in her legs* Alright... 8 years ago, eh? Then you knew Contact personally.. or at least, you were there when she was. Like you, she left, but I understand the reasons weren't so noble as that. Yndia escaped with the help of Paul and Vashti a few years back. And back then... well, 8 years ago, Eclipse was in a coma, barely 12 years old. he didn't have a file yet. So you don't know any of that at all. Great. *she takes in a breath, ready to launch into the story* Okay... about three years ago, Eclipse's file was closed after I.. well,hell, I killed him. *she pauses then and peers at Zora* Do you even know who he IS?

*uneasily she stands and looks out the window

~SHADOW~
Whitefyre: I know he was your cousin. I didn't meet Contact. The month I was at GUARD I didn't meet any other like me. Only doctors. No one ever gave me names.

~XYNTH SARFA~
Lyta: *glances over for a moment, watching her*

Xynth;*she glances over and sighs as you watch*

~WHITEFYRE~
Shadow:*she nods and continues* okay.. yeah. he was. I killed him.. well, I destroyed his body, but his mind was too strong.. he took refuge in MY head. It was never me being a telepath, like the GUARD thought.. it was Eclipse, alive inside my mind. And he stayed there for three years. Until.. *she makes a face* That darned brat gave him a new body. Now he's alive and well and.. *she motions to the tavern, a little wave of her hand* IN there somewhere, so caught up in whatever that he's not answering my mindcalls. I tell you this ONLY because Yndia and Sai knew it.. knew him. And now, The GUARD knows too. Knows Aerik's alive... knows his new body. Knows... knows he's stronger now too. Much stronger. I can tell when he touches my mind. *Of course she can.. you don't share a mind with a telepath that powerful and not learn a thing or two.. or have a link that binding and not feel things* He would have been our trump card against Shred.. now they know. They know ALL Sai knows and apparently... well, apparently Sai and Aerik had more of a history than I knew about.

*she slips over to the door and looks out, glancing back at Xynth warily*

Lyta: *glances over at the woman, eyeing her slightly*

Whitefyre: *she stares at her for a minute.* Eclipse is alive? Sh!t!! Now I really wish I could have helped Sai in the fight. As it was I barely got out myself. I had to kill a hunter to do that. *standing she starts to pace* If Sai and Aerik had a /history/ you can bet GUARD will try to capitalize on it. I know I would. Somehow we have to warn Aerik. *stopping she looks at Lyeth* The young girl in the Tavern. Lyta.. She is either a natural or unnatural mutant. There is no file on her. If we can find more like her... We may be able to get an edge on GUARD.

~PANACEA~
*she slips out the door when Xynth looks away the next time, stepping to the shadows under the trees before touching the button on her bracelet and vanishing, teleporting to Tari's house*

~XYNTH SARFA~
Lyta: *glances over at the woman and freezes. She jumps to her feet, hikes up her dress a bit and runs out the door. She frowns, shoots a glance at ZORA and then moves back inside*

~WHITEFYRE~
Shadow:*she stands as well, and shakes her head* yes.. I know this is bad.. very very bad. Maybe worse than I can imagine right now. Aerik is... hell, he's toast, and I can't find his room, and.. well, there's more to it than that. I mean.. *she blushes and switches the subject to a safer one* Lyta.. that other one? The timid one? *she glances at the tavern door and nods slowly* Easy enuff to find out. Aerik could do it.. or Aura. She could simply see that.. read the colors. But I can't tell, not anymore. As for others.. dammit, Zora, listen to yerself. Yndia.. she gave them all away. All MY people. She gave them all away when she was caught. An open book for Shred. Cuz I don't care how powerful a mindshield is, if it’s not a snapback, its toast in front of that kind of power. *she rubs her face again.. she really feels like crying right now, but it won't help... she knows it won't help* You see... where I live.. and where Aerik lived.. there are unnaturals.. about 26 of us. Aura found us all, and Yndia frequented there, our home. She knew most of the exits and traps.. they'll know. They'll find us. GOD, I need Aerik... he's the only one strong enuff to fight Shred and cover the tracks, keep people safe, and he's playing IGNORE right now. *she curses again and chews on her thumbnail, thinking* Its totally unsafe for me to go back NOW.. and I can't call anyone... oh, maybe Lytra would hear me, if she's paying attention, but by the time she got the message over, it'd be too late.. maybe. SH*T! This is SOOO not good..

Whitefyre: *Chuckles* Did you ever think of just using the phone? Or don't they have one?

*she searches through the empty house, her frustration growing..*

Shadow:*she gives a flat, dry look* You see a phone booth around here? Hmm? Got a cellular that services other worlds? Cuz I don't. *she sighs in frustration* I don't know what to do... I really don't. Crap. Just... CRAP. Rae.. Chalyss.. she's not gonna be happy about this either. She's so tangled in with us, the GUARD hassa file on her, for crying out loud. *she squats again, a sudden drop to her haunches* And Sai... I remember his diary. He has NO defenses.. none at all. Not against telepaths... he's dogmeat for Shred...

~SHADOW~
Whitefyre: No there isn't a phone booth here. We can go back to my place on Earth and call from there. GUARD doesn't know where I live. At least not yet.

~PANACEA~
*she sighs and sits down, nearly weeping in frustration*

Shadow:*she thinks about that a moment.. then shakes her head* No good now. If they have Yndia, they know everything. Tapping lines NOW might be too easy, I can't take that chance. At least they don't know I know.. yet. GAWD.. there has to be SOMEone I can go to... someone higher than all of them... *she blinks and smiles* I think I know who... only I don't really know her, just seen her once or twice. I don't know her number... damnit! *she growls and looks up at the dark windows of the tavern* Maybe if I knock on every single door up there, I'll find his..

Whitefyre: I'm sure the tavern keeps a log of what rooms are rented to who. We just need to find it.

~WHITEFYRE~
SHADOW:*she rolls her eyes, frustration making her a bit sharp of tongue at the moment* Listen... Zora. You have no CLUE what a telepath can do, do you? You think Aerik PAYS for his room? Hell no... I know him and I know what he does. The innkeeper probably isn't even aware Aerik HAS a room here... Aerik would have erased that knowledge so he couldn’t be traced. Aerik's not sloppy.. especially when he wants to hide. He probably has every servant here in a mind vice... one that makes them forget him as soon as they look at him. Covering his tracks. The keeper most likely just forgets he even has the room Aerik is using... that's simple, baby stuff for Aerik to do.

Whitefyre: Damn.. *sighing she paces again* Your right I /have/ no clue. That is why I stole the files. It's also, the reason I was trying to find a runner. Ask me how to break into someplace and I can do that. *turning she spreads her arms out* This is beyond me. *frowning she looks back at Lyeth* There may be a way to find his room without bothering anyone. I can for short hops move from shadow to shadow to someplace I haven't been. I could peak in each room without anyone knowing I was there.

*she sighs and looks back at the bracelet, wondering where else it went*

Shadow:*she bites her lip.. to keep from laughing at the thought of Zora popping into Aerik's room.. if she COULD, with his wards... and finding him and his 'new boyfriend', as Sai had put it.. maybe doing things they'd rather keep private. She coughs and smiles* I think that'd be a bad idea, Zora. I know he has psionic wards around his room.. powerful ones. But even beyond that.. um... *she coughs again* he might be... entertaining company. PLUS.. *her eyes narrow and she speaks distinctly, so there can be no misunderstanding* Aerik's not... *she taps her head* All up there. You can't predict his actions... at ANY time. He's bonkers, just very controlled. You show up, and if ya think he'll ASK who you are, well.. he’ll kill ya first and glean the info from yer dying brain afterwards. He's unstable, Zora... and extremely dangerous. Not to mention a COMPLETE prick most the time...

Whitefyre: *frowns* Is there anyway to tell which rooms are warded. It could narrow down the search. The rest we will deal with when we find him.

Shadow:*she sighs and offers a wry grin* Sure.. try walking INTO the wards.. but between magic ones and psionic, I don't think we'd last long at all. Other than that.. heck, I'm no psionic.. not telepathic at any rate, and he could probably hide them even if I was... need to be as strong as him to see them, and few are. Zora.. he... you can't begin to understand his scope of power and knowledge... he's SO damn good at what he does. I only know what I know because he spent so much time in my head... Like I said... I don't know how to find him but for keep yelling.. thought screams.

Whitefyre: *Frustrated she wants to scream* I don't want to get myself killed finding him. *she offers Lyeth a rueful grin* I had no idea what I was getting into. I should have stayed in my nice safe world as a thief.

~WHITEFYRE~Shadow:*she sighs and gives a small, bark of a laugh, no mirth in it, just cold, hard sound* Welcome to the real World... the world of the RUNner. Just being unnatural gets us here. *she frowns and looks back up at the tavern* Hell.. with Sai he could have scented the room out. *she blinks, eyes widening* Oh no... oh no. Sai can find him easy.. no problem, just follow the scent. And if Aerik's not paying attention... shooooot.. ZORA! They have his scent now!! AND his.. company's. Taken from Sai’s memories. Put a tracker on it and... *she paces madly, angered, the pauses, and still. A total statue, eyes closed.. and tries the loudest mental scream she can muster. Its not mindspeech.. its just the yell of thought. Lyeth doesn't have true mindspeech and with Aerik it’s not needed. Her eyes reopen. She waits. Waits and nothing comes back... finally she curses*

Whitefyre: *a slow smile comes to her face* Scent? Do you have anything that we could use for his scent. If you do we I know someone who can help. If I can find her.

~WHITEFYRE~
Shadow:*she blinks and looks over.. then frowns and shakes her head* No.. not of THIS body I don't. His new one. He never came back, really, to Earth. He stayed here, after dropping me off where healers could find me... least he let me live... *she shrugs and sighs* But no.. I have nothing. All I know is his current body is a demonic construct. Not much more than that. And his mind isn't as shattered as it used to be. He has a little sanity now, but none of that will help you find his scent.

~SHADOW~
Whitefyre: Damn.. I'm running out of ideas. I think the next thing is to try to contact your friends. We may just have to take the chance on phone taps.
