*a delightful laugh.. his green eyes looking at him... those eyes which had barely registered kelva even when she was there as well...* Oh no.. you are quite enough for my eyes to feast on... there is no reason to feel offended oh lovely one... yes... my eyes wouldn't wander even were there ones to wander to... *and he tells the truth... at least for now...*
*Rikky likes his laugh, he decides. In fact, he finds he likes the half-elf altogther. Amusing distraction. Shadowed eyes lock a moment with the vibrant green ones, then close a moment over his smile and the delicate blush. Someone had once told him a blush was charming, attractive, especially on him. But then, what wasn't attractive on him? A garbage bad would look fetching...* You flatter me, Fflewwddur. *He likes it though, yes.. he's always enjoyed being flattered* Do you flatter everyone so?
*a lovely smile.. the half-elf enjoying this conversation... his reasons for beginning the conversation might have been... though he'd only admit this VERY privately... simple desire... he found that the mere talk... the attempted charming.... so very enjoyable... far more so than the blatantly easy bedding he could have had if he'd worked on kelva...* Not everyone... *shrugs* And it is merely the truth... *indeed.... he only flatters those whom he has a.. special interest in...*
*Rikky stretches his long legs out, lean and hidden in sheaths of form-fitting black, then crosses his ankles and arches a look at the Bard, his smile faint. He blinks every now and then, infrequently, his timbre low, quiet, hands clasped before him and resting on the taut stomach that rises and falls gently with each breath. He paints a lovely picture, comfortable and lazy... almost the same expression he might display in post-coital lassitude...* Then thank you, sweet Bard. I am honored you find me as such, for surely, you have seen many... given attentions to a plethora of faces. *a tiny grin, a tiny barb in his words, just a teasing, good-natured, certainly*
oh dear, dear Aerik... I may have seen many many faces.... but right now there is no face I would prefer was in front of me... *oh the enchanting smile.. entrancing... the smile used to lure them towards him..... and he uses the loopholes well... always making sure he said now... in case of detect lies and the like..*
*He catches the loopholes, but not because he is trying to detect lies, simply because he's enjoying the game, and he's very careful of listening to another's words. He hasn't tried a scan for what he learned of the collar from Kelva, and he wants not to tangle himself with -that- kind of object, nor power* Very carefully said.. *he smiles knowingly and shifts again, pulling his legs in and leaning forward, elbows on his knees, a more casual pose, his own grin enchanting, indeed, almost every action seeming to counter the Bard's, never allowing an upperhand... just how good was this half elf? Rikky seems determined to test the limits of Ffleww's skills...* But appreciated nonetheless, I assure you...
*a small smile... but the bard of course is far from resistant to his own charms...... he knows how to use them... but he's never bothered to learn how to resist them... the smile tugs at him... the soft voice... the hand half-out.... almost reaching out to touch the one opposite him... but he doesn't... he never does... not without invitation... either subtle or blatant.... he's given all the subtle hints he can... he will not switch to more blatant hints... that is boring... despite the hoped for end result in his games... the games themselves are fun* But it's not as though you've never been told similiar things before now is it? I'd doubt that you're a stranger to such compliments... *he was parrying his compliments too well...*
*Rikky's hands move in small circles, absently, dangling over the edges of his knees as he smiles up at the Bard, his eyes narrowing in delight. Graceful movements, but everything about Rikky was graceful, from the long, lean lines of his demonic frame to the way he blinked. Those unusual ebongold eyes peer out at ffleww from under the lucious concealment of his bangs, shadows playing across the pale face, enhancing the pale skin* Do you doubt it? Do I give you reason for such doubt? *a small chuckle, musical and dark, scrape of crushed velvet over flesh, a wonderous sound* And, sweet Bard, you reduce your own compliments questioning over such things... *a shine to his eyes, a glimmer of amber*
*a soft smile.. his eyes twinkling* Perhaps I do... but nay... the compliments are still just as valid... it is I whom I lower... or perhaps the affect of the compliments... *he shrugs.. that had been a mistake perhaps.. but no-one was perfect... even he made mistakes in his charmings...*
*another soft breath of laughter and Rikky shakes the hair from his eyes, his shoulders, fixing his gaze solidly on Ffleww now, his grin definitely delighted* Oh, I never questioned their validity, Fflewwddur... *then he stills a bit, grin fading into a smile, sultry, lids half-masting again, and he leans forward just a bit more* Do you often... lower... yourself, Bard? *murmured in suggestion, a double entendre in the tone, the words*
*a light chuckle.. the soft voice....* I'm told I... often lower myself... so my friends say.... but I tend to think... that if I often lowered myself my music wouldn't hold the fascination it seems to... *a licking of dry lips*
Oh, but I disagree... *Rikky's tone holds, his expression, the lethargic blinking, and his smile... it tugs more to one side than the other* I think the correct kind of lowering would... enhance your abilities all around. *he grins for a moment, shows a flash of white teeth* Your friends may even... enjoy you... more. *he lowers his head, watching the bard through ebony lashes, then begins to lean backwards again, just a bit, his gaze never moving away*
*a low laugh* Perhaps with... certain of my friends it would... but with others... *he shrugs*
*Rikky notes the use of the shrug.. often and usually when... yes, he thinks, he can see a pattern where its employed. And Ffleww was either losing interest with his answers, or losing the game. Perhaps both. Rikky grins, makes a flippant motion of his hand, and leans fully back* And you have no ambition to test it... how unfortunate. *his eyes break away from Ffleww's face and he glances about the room once again* The others who would not enjoy could be named as simply unappreciative curs, do you not think? *his gaze travels back once more... and a tiny pressure in his head... his makers wondering where he was. He hides the small frown and ignores it*
*the golden laugh returns now... his eyes alight*I DO have some standards you know... *a low laugh* We all have to draw the line somewhere... even one such as I... *he grins... his eyes amused.... oh how he was enjoying this verbal battle... win or lose... it was all the same to the bard... the battle was what was fun.. and in some ways he thinks that winning or losing for him is defined differently than for many...*
Even one such as you... *Rikky smiles again at the laughter, the bright eyes, and thinks the statement not overly flattering, really. But he says nothing about it, where he could, keeping barbs at bay for now* And what lines do you draw, Bard? Where does one such as you turn away?
*the whisper... the wink* Dwarves for starters... *and he actually laughs.. just laughs.. no giggling.. no chuckling... no small laugh... a beautiful laugh that just.. erupted out of him as it were...*
*the laugh is infectious, Rikky grinning broadly at it, that loveliest of sounds. He nods, conceding to the comment, chuckling a bit at the amusement in the Bard's voice* Very well... dwarves then. *The Eshva smiles and without thought, rubs the back of his neck where the implant is... they were paging him, as it were, an itch there, like a vibration. He sighs inwardly, but never changes expression* I am pleased not to be catergorized as a dwarf. Though with my height, I think that quite impossible. *another tiny grin and a flash of gold in the dark eyes* You have a charming laugh, Fflewwddur.. *its his first compliment paid to the other, and he means it*
*he smiles softly.. the rarely given compliment seemed so much more sincere in some ways* Thank you... and their height has a lot to do with it.. *he grins... after all... it wasn't all... but a great deal was to do with their height*
*the Eshva clone nods to the thanks, smiles gently, and shifts in his seat, straightening a bit more* You prefer taller, I take it. *a small grin, and eyes the half elf before him, sizing him up... Rik himself was well over six feet tall, it made the willowiness of his frame all the more apparent, made him appear even more graceful as well. Yes, his height was perfect for his looks, those dark, pale, bright, shadowed looks* I cannot blame you, saves the kink in the neck afterwards.
*a light grin* Aye.. that it does... *he sighs* And I'm sorry dear Aerik but I must go... *standing.. the elegant bow.. the blown kiss* I retire... to sleep... *he chuckles* I do hope to see you again but until then.. vale amice.. *once again lapsing into latin*
*Rikky stands with his usual elegance, a bright glimmer in his eyes. He inclines his head deeply, smiles* Farewell, Fflewwddur. I am sure we will meet again. *his eyes narrow slightly, amused.. it seemed the bard was going to be alone in his bed, the sole body. Of course. Rikky grins and steps for the door* Sleep well... and sweet dreams. *his voice lowers at the last words, meaningful, suggestive, and he exits the door, vanishing immediately afterwards in a small spark of light, once out of view, and back to the HQ*
*he shakes his head as he returns to his room*
